The idea that you sweat out fat in a sauna is simply wrong. You lose water weight that way, and it comes right back when you drink. The fat itself leaves quietly with your breath.

This raises an obvious question. If you exhale fat, can you just breathe faster to lose weight? The answer is no, and the reason matters. Breathing harder on purpose does not force fat to break down. The rate is set by how much your cells actually need to burn, not by how fast air moves. Breathe too fast on command and you get lightheaded, not lean. Your metabolism controls the pace, and the lungs only carry out what the body has already decided to release. So the breath is the exit, not the trigger.

What actually moves the needle is the balance of carbon in and carbon out. Food and drink are how carbon enters. It is not sweated out in any real amount. It is not burned off as heat you can feel leaving. It is broken down and breathed out, one exhale at a time.
